Changing the miniature for links

You don't like the pictures suggested by Facebook for your link? Napoleon can change the picture to anything you want. Just paste in the URL for the picture in a separate field.

Adding pictures to posts

You can add pictures to your posts using either your local hard drive, a facebook page album or an album created in Napoleon that is only visibile to you and your co-workers.

Archiving deleted posts

All posts and comments from your facebook page, even after deletion are archived in Napoleon for further review.

Tagging posts

You can tag all admin posts (also ones already published) and then analyze them according to their effectiveness. Tags can resemble categories of communication: humor, product info, general news, etc. This way you can see which type of content receives a better reaction with your fans.

A list of tags

You can use previously stored tags or create new ones. Tags are created per client account, meaning you and your team have your own set of tags.

Publishing using a scheduler

You don’t have to be online on facebook all the time to post on evenings, weekends or when you are away from the office. You can set a date and time for your post to be published. Napoleon will take care of the rest.

The post queue

You can create several posts and schedule them to be published during the week why you are away for your summer brake.

Publishing links

Napoleon allows you to publish links to external sites. In addition you can change the link description, title and you can also add your own comment.

Geotargetting

For international fan pages you can set and remember in which language and for which country you would like your post to be published.

Activity Alerts

Napoleon helps you track what is going on on your fan page and help detect a crisis situation. You can customise what kind of alert you would like to receive about your page either via email or sms (contact us for special instructions.) Alert are available per post/comment or keyword and you can set the timeframe and the frequency of events that trigger the alarm.

Your fan page statistics

As a fan page admin you can see your stats any time in the Statistics tab. They include the key KPI’s as active fans, Social Interaction Index, Engagement Rate.

Reporting on mood

You want to see how the mood of fans is chaning over time? You can mark the posts and comments of fans as positive :-) neutral :-| or negative :-( . The system generates a chart for you.

Compare stats from different pages on a single chart

Napoleon enables viewing the most important benchmarks of pages on one chart. You can watch how your pages were growing in fan base and how their activity changed.

Change dates and timescale

You can set the desired period of time in which you view the data. You can also change the granularity of data by selecting a time scale (day/week/month).

What happened on the fan page that day?

You can click on any chart and display the content of historic posts and comments on that day. You dont need to scroll down on hundreds of pages on Facebook any more to know there was a contest on that day the charts are peaking!

Downloadable PDF reports

If you need to take away all the important statistics, you can click on the PDF icon next to the fan page in your set and download a report containing the most important data.

Comparison reports for multiple fan pages

The PDF reports are also available for viewing multiple pages in one report. Just click on the checkboxes next to the pages in the Summary page and Click the “get comparison report” button.

Detailed data for fan pages

The Summary tab you will show you the data about the pages being viewed. Each tab corresponds to detailed benchmarks on the analysed page.

In order to view in which days of the week were the fans most acive just select the Activity menu and the Daily activity tab.

Hourly activity

Are you interested in knowing what is the best time to post on your page? Look at the charts and you will know when your fans are Likeing posts with a moring coffee and when do they have more time to write a comment.

Content type

Napoleon enables you to view what type of posts is most engaging. Is it links pictures or status updated.

Which posts were the most engaging on the fan page? You can also read the posts and comments directly from Napoleon.

Data export

If you are hungry for more and would like to play around with the data yourself, you can always download it into an xls format. All graphs are also exportable in graphical and PDF format.

Where is the buzz?

Napoleon enables tracking selected keywords of your choice. You can track your brand’s buzz on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and every internet site that Google is indexing.

Activity peaks

You can now see if there was an acitivy peak for your tracked phrases. This could indicate a press release, something in the news, an ad campaing. Go to the mentions to see the details.

Content viewing

The Monitoring module enables you to track phrases of media, blogs, facebook, twitter, g+ mentions. If you click on GoTo you will be directed to the source of the content.

Date interval selection

You can select the date interval for viewing the data in Napoleon as in the Analytics module.

Distribution

The monitoring module enables you to see the distribution of the occurence of your keywords between the various sourced (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Google).

What does it mean SII ?

SII means Social Interaction Index. Measure your performance and those of your competitors using specific metrics. Higher is this number, better is the interaction on the page. We calculate by adding the number of Likes, Comments and Post on a wall divided by the number of fans in the chosen period of time. To fit with the reality and give a different importance to different actions, we add a weighting to every action of fans on the page (1 for likes, 2 for comments, 3 for posts).

What does it mean ER ?

ER means Engagement Rate. Engagement Rate reflects percentage of your fans that you have attracted and made them engage (like or comment) with your Wall Post. We calculate it by: Likes + Comments / Number of fans in the chosen period of time.

I'm already using Facebook Insights, what are the differences with Napoleon ?

Napoleon is easier than Insights and gives you the opportunity to analyse your statistics, but also to compare your page with your competitors or follow the evolution of the conversation on other pages. Insight will never gives your information about your competitors and other pages!

There is a slightly difference between the fan number of Facebook and Napoleon. Is it an error ?

Nope. To make it easier to you and to work on fix numbers, we use data of yesterday. They are fixed and do not change. On Facebook you have the real time data, that changes and is not easy to work with.

Does Napoleon respect the privacy policy of Facebook ?

Yep, Napoleon follows and respects the Terms&Conditions and Privacy Policy of Facebook. Napoleon collects public data that everybody can collect (fans number, comments/likes,...).

Is Napoleon allowed to collect and use statistics of any Facebook Page ?

Yep. These statistics are public and available online. Napoleon organise them and make easy to work with.
